Ready for a real-world audition experience? Join Theatre EVOLVE’s Artistic Director, Anna Rachel Troy, for a three-hour mock audition workshop that takes you from prep to performance. A few days beforehand, you’ll receive a detailed breakdown—just like a genuine casting call—and email your headshot and resume for personalized review. On April 6, show up at your assigned time and perform your audition material in a supportive, professional atmosphere.
After everyone’s audition, we’ll gather for tailored feedback, guidance on refining your approach, and a warm, open Q&A. Discover what works, how to showcase your strengths, and learn new tips to stand out. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand-new to auditions, you’ll walk away with fresh confidence and practical skills. Reserve your spot now—class size is limited to 15 to ensure individual attention!
Attendance Policy
In order to get the most out of your work with us, our students should make showing up to every class on time a priority.
We understand that things do come up so if you know you're going to miss a class, please give your instructor as advance notice as possible. This will help them get you caught up and not throw off the rest of the group. Scheduling a make-up class is possible but not guaranteed.
Students enrolled in our Meisner Acting Program can only advance to the next level if they've attended at least 6 of their 8 sessions. If a student misses more than 2 sessions, they will need to retake the level in order to advance in the program.
Cancellation Policy
Student Cancellation
If a student is withdrawing from a workshop more than 7 days prior to the day of the workshop, the tuition will be kept on file for a future class or workshop for a calendar year.
If a student withdraws from a workshop less than 7 days prior to the day of the workshop, the tuition is non-refundable or transferable.
We appreciate you respecting this policy for the best experience for our instructors and students!

Studio Cancellation
Occasionally we'll have to cancel a workshop due to low enrollment. We're sorry if that happens to you! If we have to cancel a workshop you've signed up for, we will give you at least 48 hours notice and promptly start your refund process.
In the event that class is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to extreme weather and pandemic related shutdowns), a make-up will be scheduled as soon as it's safe for our students and instructors to be together safely at the studio.
In some cases classes may transfer to an online platform. If a student is unable to attend the rescheduled class due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to extreme weather and pandemic related shutdowns) that student will receive credit on their account for the value of missed classes.

About the Teacher
Anna Rachel Troy (she/her) is a versatile director, designer, and producer based in Chicago. She is the founding Artistic Director of Theatre EVOLVE and a co-founder of Chicago Artist Atlas.
In the world of theatre, Anna has worn many hats—producer, actor, costume designer, marketing manager, and casting director—but her true passion lies in directing. Known for fostering a warm and collaborative environment, Anna empowers artists to reach their full potential. She has directed productions across Iowa, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and Chicago. Notably, her work with Theatre EVOLVE includes the inaugural production of Twelfth Night and the well-received Krugozor! by Katie Coleman. Upcoming you can see her directing work in MEDEAMEDEAMEDEA at The Edge Off Broadway from May 23rd - June 22nd.
Outside of the theatre, her costume design work has been showcased on popular shows such as Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire, Empire, Shameless, and HBO’s Somebody Somewhere, as well as in various regional commercial projects.
